Dartbrook Addition, Renovation, Pool, & Pool House
Project Description:
A 1250 SF second floor addition was added to the existing 4000 SF mid-century
modern home. The entire remaining interior was completely remodeled.
The entire project drew inspiration from the original style of the home.
The upstairs addition added a new master suite complete with an exercise room,
office, large wall in closet, master bedroom, bathroom, and a screened in
balcony that views the new pool, pool house, and the large trees that line the
creek behind the home. A Louis Poulsen Artichoke Chandelier was installed
over the new re-claimed pine wood staircase.
Downstairs the walls around the old sunroom were removed to open up the central
core of the home. New maple wood cabinets were installed throughout the
home. A custom made steel display piece was fabricated and installed over
the fireplace to display a very unique piece of Yellow Bamboo granite.
